Recently installed this manifold on my 2002 Saab 9-5 aero, for refrence I decided to buy it because both studs on cylinder 4 snapped and I had a massive exhuast leak with a disintigrated gasket.

Installation wise, it wasn't bad at all. Cleared everything comfortably, though tolerances on the studs themselves were very tight and it almost had to be perfectly perpendicular to slide on. Was a bit of a pain to get on, but nothing compared to drilling two broken studs out of the head. OEM nuts on the turbo side will not clear it all the way and you would need to drop the turbo progressivly as you losesn them or they get stuck on the manifold piping. Just an fyi. I ended up using one to get it started, and once I had everything back together planned to swap for the genuine saab studs, but didn't feel like losening everything so just left it.

I knew preformance would be better but I didn't think it would be that noticable. Top end especially in third gear is MUCH better, and the turbo spools way more progressivly and responsively. If anything there's less turbo lag, though they aren't long run headers so it's not too suprising. The Turbo side is the full opening that the gasket has while the stock turbos inlet for the exhaust is a smaller circular opening instead of an oval/rectangular opening, just keep that in mind, efficiency wise you could be getting more from this manifold.

I was very pleasently supprised by the sound. My current full setup is this manifold, into the stock td04 15t, into the genuinesaab 3 inch downpipe, which I've had for a while, into the remus sport 2.5inch (according to my piece of string) catback. The car sounds deeper and clearer, less white noise on the exhuast note, and not much louder. In my opinion the setup I have right now is basically perfect for a semi large turbo i4. It still sounds very similar and has that classic saab rumble, very happy with my purchase. :)
