Using a review that I found on a saab forum, I was able to install this in under 3 hours. Mostly just unscrewing torx and removing dash trim. The hardest part was removing the last bolt that connected the original shifter to the linkage. The tutorial online helped me through that though. Shifting now is SOO much tighter and quicker!! I combined this with the Manual Transmission mount and I couldn't be happier. My 2001 feels so much newer now. passengers don't complain about uncomfortable shifting and jerking about anymore.

PS- good time to clean up a bit when you have all your interior trim taken out.
