Great part for worn out replacement or to use in conjunction with the steering rack brace. When used with the steering brace, cowl shake is severely reduced and the steering is much more responsive. For $20 why wouldn't you install these?

Installation tips:
at 150,000 miles don't think the original bushing are just going to "fall out". I wasn't about to try and remove the entire arm assembly and put it on a bench so I used some "help". That help came in the form of a propane torch being careful not to turn the old rubber (or fire wall) into a molten fiery mess. Once the rubber was crispy the metal insert fell out with ease and the rubber as well (this was done after the arms were removed from the rack). While I removed the bolts with the car on the ground, I wouldn't recommend installing them without the tires in the air. Using just one of the bolts I aligned the steering mechanism back in the rack so it was a snap to get the first arm lined up and the bolt started (don't forget the plate). Then remove the first alignment bolt you installed, load up the last arm with the bushing and install the last arm. Trying to install both bolts at the same time when they are tied together with that brace is near impossible. The locking tab went on smooth with an over sized socket (17mm) and a long breaker bar using leverage from the intake to seat it fully. If you have high miles on your SAAB, installing these can be a challenge but nothing an experienced car-crafter can't get done.
