Impression: I haven't driven it long enough for the ECU to recognize the change in hardware, but the next few weeks should prove to be interesting. Throttle response feels a bit better, especially in 3rd and 4th, and the top end haul seems to last longer. It "feels" like you will lose a good amount of what low-end you had, in favor of the top.

Install: Spent about 3 hours installing, adjusting, and torquing down the parts.
One piece of advice. REMEMBER where all the parts went, and how you removed them. Use a tray to keep all your fasteners, and don't guess. If you have a Viggen, this is a direct replacement with the stock item. I tried to fit the band clamp (driver's side) forward of the plastic "barrier" (you'll know what I speak of). This was not such a good idea - it increased the connection to the delivery pipe (to TB) tension. I blew this connection twice during shakedown. Had to torque down the clamp quite hard, and make sure that the clamp cleared the bead for a good seal and grip. Too lazy to go back to fix the driver's side IC connection today. Will definitely do it when the weather gets warmer...

Testing: During shakedown, make sure you're in a good stretch of road with little traffic. If you blow a pipe, you'll get blinking CEL. Pull the car over to the shoulder as quickly as you can. Subsequent attempts to get the car to move without boost /intake will get progressively harder. Carry a 7mm ratchet with you until you are 100% confident that everything is tight and right - oh, and a good pair of grippy heat-resistant gloves will be a good thing to have in your car, if you don't already.

Verdict: Great value so far. It would be cool to have Taliaferro engrave their logo on the top of the IC, for a custom look. If I may be a bit greedy, I wish I could see a bit more of the IC through the lower grille...
