I wanted to wait some time before reviewing....I've now had a bit over 2 months and ~2000 miles.

If you read the directions the whole install takes 15 minutes total - really, a snap. I installed in my driveway and simply backing out of the driveway I could tell something was different (in fact, before this as the idle sounded/felt different)

It's $1100, but I think it was a terrific outlay for the improvement received. If SAAB had tuned these AERO's more like this from the factory, they'd have gotten much better reviews and had sold many more. We know they're nice cars in a host of ways...but, the sporting aspect lags their European and Japanese competitors. Tuning from BSR and cars run with the best that's out there.....turbo lag reduced, and midrange pull is fabulous.

My other vehicle is a 2002 Porsche 911/996 so I've got a pretty good idea what a performance car should feel like and the SAAB 9-3 now has that 'it' property.

I'm not a heavy footed driver - I just hate the all-too-obvious turbo lag and wanted less of it. I don't drive any differently, yet the car performs so much more capably now. Unlike the prior 9-3, which I owned for 12 year and never felt like it could even handle the 185HP it had (even with scores of handling 'fixes'), the new 9-3 handles all 290HP and 340lb ft of torque after the upgrade. A nice benefit was an INCREASE in mpg....about 4% or 1mpg greater (not a bad additional benefit when premium costs over $4.00 in California today)

With only 35,000miles on my 2008 SportCombi, I expect to have and enjoy this uptune for a long, long time. I also have a 3pt chassis brace ($100) and new Bilstein HD shocks ($1500 installed) and I think the PPC is a much more profound upgrade to the car.
