Ive had this stainless beauty installed on my Viggen for almost 2 years and it was the first major step I took in tuning my car safely to higher power levels.
The sound at idle is a bit louder than stock, especially after a cold start up. A nice hum can be heard on the highway above 3000RPM as well.
This pipe alone will as others have said increase turbo spool up earlier by reducing back pressure and allow the engine to breath better making the car feel more responsive and lighter.
The main advantage is that this pipe greatly helps to allow the further increase in hardware/software to be added to your Saab safely and efficiently
After you get this pipe installed go with the ETS high performance intercooler and have Nick tune your ECU and you'll never look back unless its a cop pulling you over for doing highway pulls trying out the new amazing torque and power!! (I kind of know about this first hand :(
Definately the first major hardware mod I would recommend.
