WOW! This thing is massive is the first thing you will notice. Not only is it built like a tank, it's heavier, and thicker than the original Saab intercooler. Just from picking it up you can tell this is made for high boost applications. The cooling channels are big and strong. It is slightly wider than the Saab one by 1/4 to 3/8 inch. The nub on the top has to be cut to half it's height and you may need to cut the original runbber mount on top of the AC radiator a little bit. I used a hack saw and a file for the minor modification and a razor blade to cut my Saab rubber holder. Otherwise the Saab intercooler hoses fit right up and clamps onto it fine. I was replacing my turbo at the same time to plenty of room. I removed the cooling fan, radiator, turbo, front grill and lower plastics to gain access. I estimate this at about a 4 hour job but because I was also swapping my turbo and all the coolant and oil lines and an oil change it took me 8 hours. I'm running a stage 3 tune of 1.35 bar boost and a TD04-15G Aero turbo on T5 Suites software. BOOOOST!!! Not a problem.
