tl;dr
Not terrible. Not ideal if NVH is a concern to you.

I bought this to put on my stock 9-3 during a clutch job as I found that the stock part was totally work out and no stock parts were available at the time. I also got the aluminum flywheel as it was ~$400 cheaper than the stock flywheel, and mine NEEDED to be replaced.

So, first off, let me say, I'm an automotive engineer, and have dealt with vibration issues in vehicles. No OEM would ever put this on a stock car. That being said, if you have modded your car and are making much more power this might be the right solution. If you are like me and were just trying to replace a part and this is the only available part... I might think twice. The stock parts actually became available 4 months after I purchased this, and I purchased a stock one, and its better. But not fully back to how it was before my clutch job, and I think that is due to the aluminum flywheel.

With this part in, I found myself reving the engine to 1100rpm at red lights so it wouldn't shake that bad. with the stock, I only do that when the a/c is on.


So... in conclusion, if you don't care about vibrations and want your motor held on tight. This works. If you do care about vibrations, this might not be the part for you.

also, I purchased the "soft" one. in it's 6 months of use it seemed to have a little more wear than expected. Build quality and fit and finish was good.
