For my 2.3 900S installing this bracket was not easy. (What model Saab was used in the pictures anyways? That rack and pinion unit looks measely compared to mine.)

First, the fuel lines on my Saab are right next to where this bracket is located, so I had to be REALLY careful. Second, those very fuel lines are harnessed to the lower bolt of this bracket so I had to make sure the harness was attached first before I bolted on the cover bracket. Third, it takes some serious, but careful, muscle work to move the rack and pinion unit away from the firewall to get the back part of the bracket in place. Fourth, the huge steering arm in front of the rack makes it very difficult to manuever the overlapping bracket of this set into place. Last, the arm piece extending from the bracket to the wheel well had to be tapped into place with a hammer to get the bolt to sit in the hole described in the installation. I don't feel nor did I see any damage from forcing the arm to fit, but it was a pain to get in.

I really like the end result of this product, ESPECIALLY because it replaces an inferior GM part, but if you're doing this upgrade on a 900S with the 2.3, expect some difficulty not clearly explained in the installation pics.
