Car: 2002 SE Convertible with 17K on the clock.
Fast shipping which was great; delivered the next day. I had a local garage install it today and they had no trouble. Despite the low miles, I just had Conti Extreme Contact tires mounted and an alignment done to try to help with the usual scrambled eggs front end, floppy steering, and terrible cowl shake with these cars (my second 9-3 convert). I’ve only driven it a few miles but I did notice that the brace helped. I didn’t think it was as dramatic a change and some of these reviews suggest (may be with older and higher mileage cars there is more improvement?). Anyway, it seems to me that the steering benefitted the most as the car seems to track better and control of the wheel is improved. A bit better on rough pavement and some reduction in cowl shake. I would say about a 30% overall improvement.
