Installed in my 2006 V6 93SS.

Installation went ok, the rivets don't flush 100% against the subframe but I didn't run into any problems mounting the brace against the rivets. Although the installation manual says you can do it yourself with normal hand tools and a jack, I would strongly suggest against doing so. I had access to a hoist and impact guns, and it was still a challange.

My only complaint was the lack of installation hardware. They only include 2 bolts properly sized to fit into the rivets and mounting points of the brace. The last bolt is shared with the "tool" they provide. There is no way anyone has a socket small enough to tighten that bolt into the mounting point of that brace. Also, the bolt/tool was very long and required the use of all the washers to make it fit. Not the greatest, but eventually I did get the bolt tightened. It would have been nice to include 3 peoperly sized bolts, I don't think 1 bolt is that expensive.

Anyways, the chassis is much stiffer after the installation of the brace. I find my car tends to skip over certain bumps and I get wheel spin on the inner tires when I go through tight corners. The car seems to crash through rough roads and the ride is quite noticeable harsher. I love a stiff chassis and this modification suites me just fine. I think this modification is well worth it for anyone that does occasional track or ever compains about the mushy chassis. Turn in is much sharper as well.
