Gas Mileage Improvement!
Not sure anybody has mentioned this but I'm a little stunned at gas mileage improvement. My 99 9-3 has almost 150,000 miles. I installed this 2 months ago, my car went from 28 to 29 mpg to 32 to 33 mpg at 70 mph cruising speed. No Lie.
This was obvious bottleneck after upgrading intercooler and 3" downpipe. I still have stock exhaust after Cat converter. I still haven't updated ECU.
Noise: Doesn't bother me. Nice to hear the high pitched turbo. When car is steady state on freeway, very little noise.
