Hooollllyyyyy cow. pain in the a$$ install is all i can say. took me about 2hrs, had to jack up the car, take off the wheel. only to find the clip was facing completely the wrong way....So then i had to take off the side blinker. I highly recommend you start with that, take off the side blinker and see which way the ring clip is facing first. After that taking the box out was easy. Installing the new filter was a sinch although i recommend a longer screw come with it, i would say you need a 2" instead of the 1" if you want to keep the rubber bushing on there. Then came the real pain....the old snorkel, what a piece of work some of the weirdest bends and angles on that pipe that i have ever seen. its like they went out of their way to bend it in a way that makes it super hard to take out. You have to take off the front grille and undo 1 bolt, thats it..but then you have to try to pull it out. Sounds like a lot of work, and it can get aggravating, but let me tell you was it ever worth it....the car sounds crazy, best sounding turbo spool i have ever heard, throttle response is increased, turbo lag decreased, power gain. everything you want and more from an 80$ upgrade. very highly recommend this part, should be the first thing on any saab owners upgrade list. Nice work Taliaferro family.
