Worth every penny. If you're considering this, just go ahead and get it.
I recently installed the removable version and it took about 2 1/2 hrs, including reading the directions, having some coffee and making a trip to the hardware store. I installed to two end pieces separately and I'm sure it saved me a bunch of time and frustration. Hold the bolt through the hole in the body and spin the end piece onto it. You then only need a wrench for the last little snug of the bolt. There were no instructions included for the rivnut but a little searching online found them. Hint: they're on this site.
Anyway, the car is now starting to feel like it should. Noticeable improvement in stiffness in the back end. As a bonus, if you're like me and are annoyed with the creaks and groans coming from the back of the car, here's your fix.
Fit and finish are very nice. While the removable version is removable, the side bolts are a little tight up to the side of the trunk, so it's not something you'll be casually putting in and out. I only need the full hatch space once or twice a year, so no big deal. I think the big benefit of the removable version is it's ease of installation. Thanks to GS for another fine product.
