I have 2009 aero(2.8t) xwd 6speed auto ...this intake is a great basic mod. I was worried that the aftermarket sound might have been to teen-ish\ loud but it's perfect. Loud enough to make you smile but quite enough during normal driving. Honestly don't even notice a difference in the sound in till mid-hard acceleration...on the auto trans blowoff is only noticed depending on when you let off gas and transmission gear... (So you don't always get the blow off sound). I believe it has better response but not 100% sure if my mind is playing games. But verry happy with overall product. Reason I gave it 4 stars was the powder coat was scratch in small area but it may have happened during install but not sure cause I'm usually very carefull etc. Powdercoat could be more durable or more layers.
