Okay, I'm with a few of you who had a bitch of a time getting this thing installed. I'm dreading pulling it for the downpipe (or my dealer should be dreading it). Rivets were easy/great design and instructions. But in the end, the thing simply didn't line up with the holes in all respects, and I spend a good 4 hours messing with it. Even pulled the drill out twice to attempt to line up the holes. Much finessing and brute strength involved. I finally gave up trying to get the supplied bracket piece and frame to line up (my last bolt) and went to home depot and purchased a 3/8 bolt and lock washer and did it the old fashioned way. Worked fine.
Product works well. I took my 2002 Vig convertible over a few bumps while accelerating, and she didn't feel like she was going to fly off the road like the old days.
Worth the pain, but do be ready for pain, unless I simply got an ever so slightly out of spec product. All is well in the end.
