All I can say is what a PITA to install! It took me about 2 hours. I should be riding the short bus seeing as most of the other reviews said an hour tops. I did standard procedure: removed front grille, and passenger turn signal block. Then passenger front tire and folded back the splash guard. I used some margarine to slip the rubber hose onto the stainless steel fitting Taliaferro supplied. I can't give 5 Griffins because the bolt I was given was only an inch long and did not make it through the holes. I had to fabricate my own bolt and nut and put a bunch of washers on. Then the rubber air hose in the car impeded the turn signal block from going back in and one of the lights inside broke trying to cram it in. It's not Taliaferro's fault the thing is hell to install; blame Saab. I ended up taking the front underside splash guard out and the stock snorkel fell right out. Make sure you put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator. I would have done quite a bit of damage without it. Enough about the installation and more about the performance now. I put it on my 2001 V6 Sedan. I'm not sure if I love the sound but I do love the performance boost. The car runs sooo much smoother up hill and doesn't go nuts trying to find a gear it likes. The turbo gauge just goes right up and the RPMs stay the same and you fly right up the hill. I've also noticed an increase in MPGs. I put some videos on YouTube. Search for "Saab V6 Intake," and you should see mine. Please comment.
