The first performance part I bought for my 97 900 5 dr was the upgraded rear ARB. I was so impressed by it's performance that I had to have this brace too. As with all of Taliaferro's parts, this is a high quality part that installs as if it's factory. Installation was easy once all of the carpet and insulation was out of the way. The hardest part was cutting a hole in the steel to access the center bolt to install the nut. This took the longest time as I tried to make the hole as small as possible. Removing the seats completely would have made it much quicker but I was being lazy and had the right tools to cut the hole. Then I took it on a test drive and was literally laughing at how well the car handles and takes corners. The last car I was in that felt this solid at high speed was my buddies M3. I can't wait to see what it can do when it gets lowered and the sub-frame brace is added. You need this part for your 900 hatchback, trust me.
