On my 95 900set m/t, the pair of mounts (engine and trans) added a fair amount of vibration and a funny harmonic 55-65mph in 5th gear. A bit uncomfortable, but they also provide a much more direct and positive feel, great for high performance, but a compromise in comfort. It's all a trade off.
