Had these bushings installed as part of a front end overhaul. While the effects of this individual part are impossible to gauge, the total effect of the set of new bushings is incredible. I combined the front end bushings with new steering rod bushings and a replacement OE bushing not sold by Taliaferro. The car doesn't wander nearly as much. Next step is the steering rack brace, rear ARB and subframe brace. This convertible still feels pretty loose.
On a side note, don't let your mechanic tell you that you need new inner tie rod arms unless they can demonstrate that they're actually destroyed. The bushings can be replaced, and it's fairly easy and quite inexpensive to do. The new inners, however are fairly expensive.
