HOLY HELL what a PITA! This thing took me a large part of the day, mostly spent on figuring out just HOW I was going to do every step. From cutting the hole behind the seats to trying to tighten the bolts, there were weird angles and uncomfortable positions ALL OVER this install. I guess I made it a little harder for myself by keeping the carpet in while I installed it (I just wanted to cut holes where the bar fastens rather than slicing up the carpet and sliding it around the bar). A word to the wise, plan how you are going to do things with the next few steps already in mind!

However, since this is a review on the product itself, I have to give it 5 Griffins. My install time was cut short because I was meeting a friend for lunch, and driving around with it half-installed there was noticeable improvement. Once it was finally fastened down, the car was much more stable on corners, hard and soft, and the car maintained stability MUCH better going over bumps. An unexpected benefit was that the bar significantly reduced lurching during shifts! There was considerably less rocking back and forth when engaging/disengaging the clutch.
