Initially was interested in just the tank, but bought strut bar too. Very glad I did. I tend to like to keep my cars pretty much stock - but the known problems with the plastic overflow tanks and caps failing prematurely due to engine heat was enough to convince me to try the Taliaferro tank. It is well made, and in the black powder coat finish, really doesn't look like an aftermarket part. But the real revelation has been the strut bar. I never liked the lack of steering feel in my stock Turbo X Sportcombi. The strut bar not only makes the steering feel more positive, but the whole car feels more solid and stable during cornering. The steering wheel used to deflect noticeably over bumps, and there was a bit of audible booming on rough pavement. The strut bar has corrected all of these flaws, and the car is really more of pleasure to drive now. Since the bar easily bolts on and off, I'd advise giving it a try. It is an extremely worthwhile mod and has improved the driving experience of my Turbo X.
