Installed the removable brace a couple of weeks ago. Install is a bit tedious and that DANG 'Rivetnut'....don't know what it is about those and me. Same issue as with the 6 point brace but got it to stop spinning with some needle nosed Vice-Grips.

The first thing I noticed with the brace installed was....nothing! Suddenly the car was so very quiet. Not that it was noisy before but now it's noticeably quieter. Putting the car through some spirited driving I really appreciate the increased stiffness of the rear end.

I'd recommend the removable version. Not only is it easier to install (you can remove the ends and fit them through the carpet) but you can still use your full hatch space. Not sure how often I'll have to remove it but it's comforting to know I can and that I haven't lost any functionality.

Another recommendation is get a stubby 19mm combination wrench. Only real way to get into that tight spot under the speakers.
