I just installed the strut brace on my 2001 Viggen Vert and it makes a world of difference. I did this one night and the rear stabilizer the next night and I could tell that the front was tight and the rear was loose then after I installed the rear stabilizer bar, the whole thing worked as one. You get rid of 90% of the shimmying over bumps that is common in convertibles. Both items are a must-have and do them together for a uniform ride/performance. The installation on each unit is simple. The strut brace can be done alone and, yes it does contact the power steering hose right by the brake booster, but the rear stabilizer bar would be helpful to have a second person to hold it up while installing the bolts. Very happy with this upgrade and a huge value. Wait to see what Saab put in compared to what you are replacing it with. You'll shake your head.
